We are looking for an awesome product-oriented and data-first Head of Marketing to own the strategy and execution of our marketing initiatives, ranging from first click to retention initiatives, with a focus on instilling loyalty within our ever-growing customer base. This will be our first internal Marketing hire (building a future team around you) and will play a strategic role in owning the development of the customer journey, content, performance, partnerships, and social media strategy, defining landmarks along the way, and executing programs that drive deeper engagement with Honest Greens fans and customers.
The ideal candidate will have no problem rolling up their sleeves and working directly with customers to understand the wants and needs of the market, while ensuring that relevant programs are being created for all stages of the customer journey.

In this role you will:
- Owning the marketing output in line with set brand and growth KPIs
- Driving initiatives to maximise New User Acquisition (MAU, ARPU, CAC etc) and retention of active user base (CRM, partnerships activations)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design and Engineering and our external agency to deliver compelling new personalised customer journeys
- Lead the future team and oversee internal communications to ensure all staff are updated on key company messages and clearly understand the brand’s vision and values for a successful execution
- Gain deep customer empathy and understanding of the challenges and triumphs that our users encounter as they order with Honest Greens
- Work with product and engineering to develop internal tools to fully optimise automation technologies, including event tagging and reporting implementation
- Continuously conduct A/B tests and analyse results to develop insights that improve acquisition, retention, conversion rate, and customer loyalty
- Test and develop strategies for testing new communication channels
- Develop near and long-term plans for channel optimisation and expansion
What you need to be successful:
- 6+ years of experience from strategic positions within marketing, CRM, growth or lifecycle-analytics in a company with a digital product in a competitive market
- A deep understanding of customer behaviour and how digital marketing should be optimised to contribute to growth goals and conversion through the user funnel
- Experience successfully leading revenue generating teams
- Data-driven and analytical: you absolutely love data! And understand how to use it to improve your strategies and campaigns
- A customer-first mindset when approaching projects
- Organization and efficiency — you can take on complex projects and own them from start to finish
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Extreme ownership, a can-do attitude
- Fluent in Spanish and English, other second languages are a strong plus
A little more about you:
- Experience working in a fast-growing tech start-up / scale-up
- Expertise with Sendgrid, OneSignal, Urban Airship and/or a similar platform
- SQL and HTML experience
