Description:Founded in 2017, honest greens is a rapidly growing, fast-casual restaurant group with a mission to improve communities by making healthy living enjoyable, accessible and affordable through honest food. On a daily basis, throughout our 10 restaurants across Spain and Portugal, our hundreds of staff produce delicious food from products that are ethically sourced, organic whenever possible, unprocessed and free of artificial preservatives, additives or refined sugars.Over the coming years, we will be scaling our restaurant, geographical and digital footprint to ensure that our customers can interact with our brand wherever they are We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Director of Purchasing to build and lead the department, guide strategy and optimise operations as we scale the business.Do you have extensive purchasing experience with large restaurant groups? You will report into our Chief Operations Officer and work closely with our Founder & Executive Chef and Director of Operations. In this role you will be:• Be responsible for the ongoing management and implementation of current and new purchasing processes, with the goal of optimising
supplier performance and reducing costs.• Create and implement best practice processes that ensure purchasing procedures meet business objectives and complement operational strategies.• Create and manage supplier relationships whilst negotiating contract terms and conditions to ensure value for money, in keeping with company strategic goals and objectives.• Develop supplier feedback and evaluation processes with a view to improving working relationships.• Provide leadership to a new department including training and managing team members.• Develop KPIs within a departmental strategy to ensure that company goals are met.• Maintain and improve internal and external stakeholder relationships.• Recommend solutions for optimising costs without compromising quality and in response to fluctuations in the market.• Give input to new technologies that can improve workflows, whilst
