Founded in 2017, Honest Greens is a rapidly growing, technology enabled restaurant group with a mission to improve communities by making healthy living enjoyable, accessible, and affordable. Daily, throughout our 14 restaurants across Spain and Portugal, our hundreds of staff produce delicious food from products that are ethically sourced, organic whenever possible, unprocessed, and free of artificial preservatives, additives, or refined sugars. Over the coming years, we will be scaling our restaurant, geographical and digital footprint to ensure that our customers can interact with our brand wherever they are.
As an honest greens Controller, you will be planning and managing all day to day financial activities with respect to budgets, costs, forecasting, analysis and internal financial reporting. Your main responsibilities setting up and managing standards and processes for operational KPIs of the company.
In this role you will:
- Ensure data quality
- Ability to prepare highly detailed spreadsheets to analyze data across business units with the goal of creating operational efficiencies / stop waste / bring inconsistencies to management’s attention (extracting information and analysing from our POS, other software platforms and bank payments)
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

What you need to be successful:
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting or equivalent required. Master degree in Finance, MBA or CPA preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar position
- The ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel, and proven experience with accounting systems
