We’re looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with extensive programming experience in .Net, who wants to be a part of building a World Class product from the ground. This role will be reporting into our Head of Engineering. You will be the secondbackend hire to help build and lead a next-generation international food platform.
Responsabilities:
- Design and build world-class products using .Net Core
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Write top-level code and documentation
- Help to drive the product forward
- Participate in our technical discussions on developing product features
- Promote standards in code development and delivery
What you need to be successful:
- 5+ years of experience as a .Net engineer
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience developing asynchronous applications
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Experience with EF Code first
- SOLID is the only coding way you know
- Understanding of Machine Learning and Automation
- Knowledge of the testing cycle, automation and with knowledge and/or experience of SCRUM and/or Kanban
- Good communicator who can work well within a delivery team and manage interactions with other parts of the organisation
- Team player who is willing to stand up and put forward ideas
- Experience working in a fast-growing tech start-up / scale-up
- Extreme ownership, a can-do attitude
- Fluent in Spanish and English
